Academics

At St. Bonaventure, we believe in a complete Christ-Centered education that responds to the learning and spiritual needs of each student. Our academic approach, while also promoting rigor, embraces differentiated and personalized instruction to educate each child at his or her own level. Rich and collaborative student-teacher relationships identify talents and build paths to further study. Immersive field study trips actively expand student knowledge and interest through real-world experiences.

From advanced mathematics and faith formation to social-emotional learning and foreign language instruction, our academic program is dedicated to the growth and development of the whole person. Engaging STEM lessons encourage innovative and critical thinking through robotics, coding, and programming. Our after-school enrichment program offers further educational opportunities, including Drama, Choir, Chess Club, Lego Club, and Yearbook, among learning activities.

  • TK and Kindergarten

Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK/Sprout) program maintains a slower pace and a more relaxed, developmental approach than traditional Kindergarten. TK is a great prep year getting students ready for our one year Kindergarten.

  • Curriculum

Our robust and challenging academic curriculum is designed to meet the individual needs of our students and encourage them to explore every interest.

  • Scholarly Enrichment

We offer a number of scholarly opportunities to supplement curricular learning to stimulate creative, innovative, and critical thinking.

  • Field Study

At St. Bonaventure Catholic School, we do our best to provide many local hands-on learning experiences for students at every grade level, and extended field study opportunities for 6th-8th grade.

  • Diversified Learning Support

DLS services are offered in the DLS Center and/or in the classroom to assist students with learning exceptionalities to perform successfully alongside peers.
