The Annual Giving Fund

A Legacy of Excellence

Established in honor of Sister Carmel Lynch, Principal Emeritus, A Legacy of Excellence is the hallmark of our giving campaigns.

A Tradition of Giving

In the fall of each year, St. Bonaventure Catholic School embarks upon its Annual Giving Fund, A Legacy of Excellence. Our school depends upon this tradition of giving to bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of providing a high quality Catholic education. This Fund is in its sixteenth year and money raised helps to support an environment in which children flourish and experience the joys of learning. Students study in addition to their standard parochial education, art, foreign language, music, physical education, Robotics, technology and are presented with opportunities for field study and after school programs. Please consider making a financial commitment to the Annual Giving Fund, A Legacy of Excellence. Donations may be made as a one-time gift or a pledge with payments. Your generous contribution will not only support the future of all St. Bonaventure Catholic School children but may be tax deductible.

The Rich History of Our Annual Giving Fund

sister carmel 2.jpeg

Since 1965, St. Bonaventure Catholic School has been led by the Presentation Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose conscience and heart remain central to our community.

During the 2007-2008 school year, Sister Carmel Lynch, Principal Emeritus, along with the Amaro, Heaney, Keegan, and Menichiello Families, founded the Annual Giving Fund as a solution to the school’s need to make up costs unsupported by tuition. The campaign was titled “A Legacy of Excellence” in honor of Sister Carmel who, throughout her tenure, maintained a commitment to providing an affordable Catholic education for all God’s children.

Gifts to the Legacy of Excellence fund have a tremendous impact on our ability to create transformative, Christ-centered experiences in the lives of our students. Your support demonstrates a commitment to our mission of providing an academically excellent, Christ-centered education in which all children reach their God-given potential and make a positive difference in the world.

“It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.”
